Hello all! This will probably be my last bulletin because I'll see most of you next month on March 23. I can't believe we're less than six weeks away from the big day!
In this bulletin, I'm giving you all a schedule of events and some notes about what you'll need to do/bring, etc. Please let me know if I'm forgetting anything.
Your shoes, if you haven't already gotten them, are on the way to you. Sorry for the delay. Please take them with you when you get your dress altered. The hem of the dress should hit your foot in the middle of the back of the strap of the shoe that goes over your foot and toes (see picture below).
Some of you asked me about manicures and pedicures. I wanted for us to have a fun day at the spa where we got all this done, but we just don't have enough time since pictures start at 4 pm on Saturday. If you want to get your nails done, please feel free, but I do not require it! I would only ask that you use a neutral shade of polish so you don't look too different from everyone else.
I'm really excited about seeing all of you soon! Thanks so much for being there for me!
Love,
Lori

Shower/Bachelorette Party - Bring your altered bridesmaid's dresses and your shoes with you or send them if you're not coming. I will get the dresses cleaned and have them and your shoes waiting for you on April 6.

Rehearsal/Rehearsal Dinner - The rehearsal begins at 5:30 pm at the Brooks Museum. We're starting that early because the ceremony will be outdoors and we lose the light around 6:25 or 6:30.
I doubt there will be any time to go back to your hotel rooms and change before the rehearsal dinner so you might want to wear your clothes to the Brooks. Let me know where you're staying and what time you're planning to get in town, and maybe we can arrange a carpool.
The rehearsal dinner starts at 7:30 pm. Wear what you like. I'll be wearing a long dress, but I suspect there will be people in all types of attire.

Hair/Makeup - We have appointments at Juve Salon (halfway between my house and the Brooks) at noon. We'll all be getting our hair and makeup done, and we should be finished by about 2 pm.
You don't need to bring any makeup except mascara and anything you want to bring to the Brooks in case you want to do some touch-ups before the ceremony starts. The experts say you should wear a button-down shirt so you won't mess up your hair and makeup when you get dressed later.
Brooks Museum - We'll get to the Brooks around 2:15 or 2:30 pm and have some lunch. If you have given me your bridemaid's dress/shoes at an earlier time, I will make sure it gets to the Brooks for you. If you haven't, make sure you bring it with you. After lunch, we'll get dressed for pictures, which will start at 4 pm and last between 30 - 45 minutes. Since we'll lose the light after the ceremony, we're taking all pictures except ones with both Alex and me in them before the ceremony.
Ceremony/Reception - The ceremony will start at 6 pm and will be very short. Afterward, we'll need to snap a few more pictures and then you guys can party! I want you to have as much fun as possible!
Alex and I will probably take some time after the ceremony to just be alone for a few minutes and then will come inside too. We will then make our way to the dance floor and have our first dance. We will not be doing any other staged dances. Just feel free to dance with whomever you want whenever you want.
